  1. I love my Canon 40D!

  2. value and full frame - canon 5d

    a

  3. Nikon f5 it's not digital, but if you are looking for a pro camera, this camera is one of the best.

Of course the lens is equally important.

    I love my f5 :-)

Good luck on your choices and happy picture taking!

  4. Right now the Nikon D300 is making a lot of pros happy ... if you have the budget a D3 of course would be the one to buy.

When you sit down and start making your list of items for your business, you will of course have DSLR bodies, a few lenses that will support the your clients as well as your lighting needs.  If you are going to have a studio, then you will have those items to include in your initial budget.

A friend of mine just put a studio together and after all was said and done she had over $100,000 invested in the building of the studio sets, lighting, backgrounds (including a chroma key seamless background) dressing room as well as three DSLR's, five lenses and one medium format digital camera with lenses.  Then of course there were the office computers and a remote notebook.

  5. Nikon D80 is the newest DSLR in the Nikon line with 10 megapixel. 10 mp will give you an HD-like photo quality. It's around $1000 at B&H Photo and Amazon. That's the camera I'm using in photography school. As well many photo students at RIT are using this camera for their Photojournalism major.

  6. Canon g9-$476-12MP
