Most of the companies I have been researching will only insure me as far as life insurance.

  1. I would check with http://mysite.verizon.net/ressg6c7/savin... they list several life insurance rating services.

If your boyfriend is willing to sign the application there shouldn't be no problem then he can name you the beneficiary.

  2. A couple of comments:

    a) Never sign his name to any legal document. Insurance Fraud is serious. The claim will be denied.

    b) After 10 years, he should apply for the life insurance. You have an insurable interest in his life.

    c) As an insurance agent, I have had divorced moms who had life insurance on their X to replace their child support if something happened and they the mom paid the premium.

  3. i think few companies will be able to do it . you can try this link http://tinyurl.com/3fdmpm  for more info

  4. You should be able to take out a life insurance policy on anyone, as long as they sign for the approval and submit to any medical exams or blood tests.

  5. Well, any of them will - but he has to sign his permission, fill out the medical application, submit to a paramedical exam.

You can't do it without his permission and cooperation.

  6. He would have to get it on his own and name you beneficiary, just as you are insuring yourself for him.  Most, but not all, companies will allow committed couples to name each other as beneficiaries (only a few out of hundreds don't consider this insurable interest).  Check around to see about rates and any underwriting concerns (like insurable interest).

  7. Well, if he is your long time BF I'm sure that you have all his personal information. Just fill it out for him and sign it. Especially if he is being a pain about getting it done. God forbid something should happen to him and you get left with the job of burying him and paying any medical bills he might have cause his family is not going to step up and say " Hey let me go into debt for someone I haven't seen or spoken to in years." This situation happen to my cousin with her BF of 15 years and she ended up having to cremate him and almost went bankrupt because of his medial bills. then his family got mad cause she didn't give him a "proper funeral".

Dude just sign the papers and move on.
