I'm looking to get the train from Milan to Venice next month but I'm having trouble finding a same day return?

Any suggested sites, i've looked at trenitalia but it i cant find the option to select when i will be returning?

The trenitalia site is not my favourite - you really sometimes need persistence on their site. You should be able to book it though as the trains do run back and forth all day. You can always just book it at the station - this time of year you shouldn't have to much problem getting a seat.

Hi,

check again trenitalia. After having searched the timetable for the way from Milan to Venice you'll see on the bottom right that there is a "Back journey" option. Click on that and you'll see the timetables from Venice to Milan.
