  1. now

  2. As others have advised you should have done this some time ago and wher exactly are you wanting to go

A few friends used this site to the caribbean had a great wedding and honeymoon packet.

  3. Definitely book ASAP, because summer (during school vacations) are the high season so there won't be "last minute" deals.

First and foremost, figure out what sort of cruise you want.  I recommend doing this on your own rather than letting a travel agent steer you -- sometimes they aren't too knowledgable, and sometimes they get, um, special incentives from certain cruise lines.

This set of articles explains how to pick the right cruise depending on what matters to YOU (some people want nightlife, some want relaxation, some want kids onboard, others find kids stressful, etc.), and there's a section on finding cruises that are the best value:

And this has tips on when and how to buy:

(But unless it's important to you to book by phone rather than online, be sure to look for a site with a low-price guarantee)

    Congrats on your honeymoon!

  4. I just booked a cruise that had the same price on every website I could think of, expedia, orbitz, travelocity, cruise direct, ncl, etc...I searched for days and then finally found a great offer at smartcruiser.com saved over 100 bucks and they offer little perks for booking with them....Good Luck!

  5. One important idea to remember is that even once you book your cruise (and you should -- now), you may be able to get the price lowered on a later date...more than once we've booked a cruise only to have the cruise line run a sale on a later date.  They're not going to lower your cruise ticket price automatically (of course), but every time we've had this happen and called, they did reduce our ticket price to the sale price.  So then, the only way to lose is to not book right now -- do your homework on the cruise website prices and you may even get that price lowered before you go!  Hope this helps...

  6. For a cruise in June you need to book NOW or ASAP!!!.  You will always get the lowest price for the earliest booking.  A couple other tips for getting a good deal:

    1) In addition to booking early, go to the cruise line web sites and look for specials and deals.  All of the cruise lines list a few specials.  I have found that you can locate the specials the easiest on Carnival and Royal Caribbean web sites.  Royal Caribbean has a link for "hot deals"  highlighted in red right on its home page.

    2) Be flexible on your cruise date.  You may have to pay a higher price to start your cruise the day or week after your wedding.  So look at prices for up to a few weeks or months after your wedding and you will probably find that there are dates with lower prices.

    3) June is the beginning of the cruise season in the Caribbean and it runs through the end of October.  So consider cruises other than the Caribbean, like the Mexican Rivera, Alaska, or the Mediterranian or Baltic.

  7. June, 2008?  Book now!

  8. First if you are not familiar with cruise lines talk to a good travel agent such as AAA. Each line has its' own personality. Last minute booking can get good deals but might not be available when you want to go. Start right now and let them know why you are sailing, lines offer perks for special occasions.
