I'm having a hard time finding a party room or banquet hall for my party & I really need help finding one. I plan to have the party June 7th,2008 & i'm running out of time. I need a place that caters as well. I already found a dj I just need a hall or room with catering. It also must have a full bar in it as well.

You will have more luck getting answers if you actually mention the south suburbs of where.

Try the senior centers - they usually have a nice big kitchen because they serve lunches every day and as long as the party is on the weekend they usually will rent the building out at a reasonable price. Also try the local grade schools.

As far as caterers - ALWAYS and I mean always ask for references - but You need to get busy on that for sure - the good ones book as much as a year out.  If you have a local college or even community college they might have a cooking school - and the students do the catering for parties for extra money for the school.  They are well supervised and you get great food at a wonderful discount!
