What kinds of classes I'll have to take (Other than the obvious biology classes)

I am scheduled to shadow a physical therapist. I have considered watching the health channel, but they always only show surgeries... Not helpful. haha

Any other advice you could give?

  1. Your prerequisite courses will certainly require biology, but also chemistry, physics, psych and math...besides your general education and major classes.  Once in a professional phase of a PT program, your courses are all specific to PT.  In all, the education takes about 6-7 years.

I would start by going to the APTA website at www.apta.org . They have useful information for prospective students.
