I haven't studied art for a long time but I am looking to start a portfolio, I was wondering if there are any art students at about A level standard who could let me know what things I should be doing to make a portfolio. Anything could be a great help into giving me an idea of where I should be heading with making a portfolio.

  1. your portfolio should include your WORK- anything you do - photography, digital design  even 3 dimentional work -just take a good photograph of your work and include in your portfolio.

Also, you should have an artist statement for your work ( for each one or just one that cover the whole portfolio)

in your portfolio you want show your skills as a good designer/ photograph (ARTIST:)) cso choose the bestt of your work

hope it helps a little bit.
