  1. Stay right where your at Algore says it's coming to you!. Think of all the extra shorts and sandals you could buy if you don't move.

    Danni

  2. rural areas of Texas or New Mexico might fit your cost of living.  yes, even Arizona might work.  I'd stay away from CA, taxes are likely to go up there.  TX, there is no income tax.

    Tough criteria indeed.

I live in MN, love the warmer climates, but this is where my job and family (immediate and extended) live, so I'm "stuck" here.

  3. Move to Croatia. It's not hot... no winters, and it's 1 of the most beautiful places in Europe. Many people speak english.

  4. Arizona in the Summer can get as hot as 120... try Central / Southern California !!!

  5. I hear North Carolina is nice.  But I love the winter.

  6. miami florida

  7. San Diego, but it is expensive. Hawaii too. You have set some pretty tough parameters.

  8. Arizona is the place for you.

  9. If you want a western state with a good climate no winter and summers cooled by the sea you want Hawaii.

You even get some insurance against GW searise, as some islands are increasing land mass faster than the sea is rising.

  10. If you have the cash to buy a house California or Florida are about the only places that meet your parameters.

There is Mexico and Central American that can be done on a budget plan.

  11. Brookings, OR  -  Coastal town = It is called the banana belt of Oregon.

Very consistent moderate weather - no state taxes - reasonable cost of living - but it is basically a retirement community.

  12. north carolina coast

  13. You want a Mediterranean climate. The USDA Yearbook of Agriculture (Climate and Man) has maps showing locations both worldwide and in the USA. The flip side is that everybody else wants to live there and that causes prices to skyrocket.

The western states might work but the rainy/hot season is nasty and the heat, even without the rain, can be rough. Personally, I'm looking for a place in the southern Piedmont of VA.

  14. nowhere didn't you hear! The World is getting hotter everyday. Oh right after this Climate change thing or something . Than it will get hot again AL swears this time

  15. Oregon has good summer temps and moderate winters.

  16. try going to central or south florida. i lived over in west palm beach for about 3 yrs. its very beautiful and the climate is great. its not as expensive as people think but it is a bit expensive. the winters go as low as 60 there was only 1 winter day where it hit 49 but that was only once. other then that its a great place to live due to the beautiful scenery and the great climate. i'd suggest it very much so. try west palm beach 1st then try central florida. your only and hour away from miami, 45 min away from ft. lauderdale, and about 35min. away from boca raton. i'd suggest it.....its beautiful

  17. Florida and even here in SoCal get colder.  Florida is very humid and the Southeast is oppressively hot and humid in the summer.  Hawaii fits your description and it rarely gets above the mid 80's with acceptable humidity.  That is why they call it paradise.  SoCal is second best for climate where the cost of living is more acceptable.  Don't rely on averages.  There are some very expensive cities while others aren't that expensive.
