In my area local gas stations sell things like bracelets, or even if you donate a dollar, you sign a shamrock for March of Dimes, or a hot air balloon for Children's Miracle Network. I thought about creating something like a puzzle piece and taking all of the proceeds and donating them to autism research groups. Are there any rules and regulations to do this sort of thing, are there permits or something that I need to get.

  1. You need to get a solicitation permit from your local government, and permission from any organization you want to raise money for.
