Ideally, the course should be about 3-4 hours five days a week and work on all areas of language (e.g. reading, writing, etc.)

I don't mind if the course is set in a schooling atmosphere isolated to foreigners or if it is located on a general uni/college campus, etc.

There are so many different courses out there that I can't even begin to get my head around which ones are the best. I'm open to all ideas and willing to study in all areas of Japan, although my preference would be in the Chiba or Kanagawa areas.

Note I'm looking to study there for a year.

  1. You could try the Daiwa foundation.

My brother is currently doing that, he got awarded a scholarship after finishing college - so they pay for his rent, food and tutoring, they even paid for his air fare!
