I'm looking to take a few pics of my family by the Ottawa River. I'm just not sure where exactly to go.

I'm new to Ottawa and I know the Ottawa River is a big place, but I'm looking for the area where photographers usually go to take professional pics. Any idea?

Behind the Museum of Civilization has a very nice view of Parliment Hill.  Britannia Park and Andrew Haden Park also have great views.

go on colonel by drive side of canal about 500m past ottawa u. you'll get a great shot of canal and parliment in background
