I'm losing my touch!! help!!!?

Question

hey guys i know its long but i could use help.10 pts for best answer. thanks :)

ok so i have 2 bffs and they are guys. i hang out with them every chance i get at school and recently this other guy started hanging with us. i think hes cute and have sort of liked him in the past but never anything serious, however 2 years ago he liked me the whole year and even though i never rejected him he knew i didn't like him. anyways him and my bffs have never really been friends, in fact im pretty sure he thinks of them as nerds. they are, but their my nerds ;). but last friday i caught my guyfriends whispering behind my back while he was talking to me. once he was out of earshot i was like hey guys whats the deal cause they never keep secrets from me. so they told me they thought he liked me, of course i immediatly tossed aside the thought and couldn't see why they thought that. they said hes just pretending to like them to get closer to me and i mean i guess it kind of makes sense. but i mean if he likes me why hasn't he asked me out? i dunno i feel so clueless right now and i hate it cause usually i can tell easily(i guess its from being with my guyfriends so much). but do you think he likes me?? or are they just messin with my head??

It would help to know your age but this is what i got.  I am guessing somewhere in between 7th grade and Junior year.  Chances are the third guy, who isn't one of your bffs is just pretending to like the other guys to try and get close to you.  I am also guessing the third guy is deemed cool by the populis as your bffs are deemed nerds.  You should absolutley trust your guy friends.  Girls have a weakness when it comes to reading guys, as guys have a weakness when it comes to reading girls.  They may see something you don't and are very likely correct.  

Although not part of your question, here is another piece of advice.  Consider it a freebie, especially since all the advice here is free.  Take another look at your bffs.  Think about your future, doesn't it make sense to want to spend your life with your best friend.

Ha I think he likes you but he probably isn't going to try to ask you out yet. He is probably trying to get to know you more to ask you out then.
