  2. 3/a=1/6

    3/a=3/18

    Multiply everything by 3

  3. cross multiply:

    (3 * 6) = (1 * a)

    18 = a

    there's your answer.

  4. a = 18

    cross multiply

    3x6

    1xa

    divide by the number by the letter

    18 divided by 1 = 18

  5. easiest  way to do these..

    3 X 6 / 1 = 18

    a = 18

  6. it's a=18

    because 3x6 is 18 and 1x18 is 18.

    i wish my homework was as easy as yours.

  7. cross multiply and divide (3x6=18/1=18) so a=18.

    hope i helped!

    =)

  8. cross multiply:

    3*6=18

    a*1=a

    so a=18

  9. You have to cross multiply ... 3(6) = 1(a)

    So 18 = 1a

    Therefore, a = 18

  10. multiply the things diagonal from eachother (3x6, 1xa)

    you will get: 1a=18

    'free the 'a'', so divide by 1.

    you get 18...so a=18
