I'm made a video that used public volunteers, do they need to sign anything before I post it on the internet?

I don't know these people so I want to know if they need to sign anything before I post it on the internet to protect myself legally. I'm basically doing David Blane/Criss Angel stuff and I've heard of them talking about signing a "waver" or something and when they don't they blank out the faces and such. Anyone know what I need to do?
