I know you have a 6 month grace period after you graduate, but with a Bio degree...I have to also get into professional school...would they extend the loan period until after I graduate professional school?

  1. Sure, especially if it's subsidized! They offer additional deferrments if you go on to grad school -- just be sure to do the paperwork and get it done right. Don't think it will happen automatically.

  2. You can apply for a deferral for the loan. In addition, you might would be able to keep your loan account active through professional school if they approved a loan and not have to pay until after you graduate then. You should call them or check there website.
