I'm making a CD for my best friend's birthday. She just turned 15. Does anyone know any good songs?

I'm looking for songs that are not played constantly on the radio. She mostly listens to country, though any kind of music will do. The songs don't have to be about birthdays, just some songs that a teen would listen too. She also listens to a little alternative and pop. I'm looking for a wide range of songs; some slow and touching, others fun and upbeat. If you know any great songs, please let me know. Thank you!

theres a band that some people know about but their a big underground band called slightly stoopid. obviously i'm gonna be a bit biased cause theyre my favorite band but they're just really laid back and chilled out. if you're looking for a song by them i'd say collie man.

for other bands some less popular sublime songs like badfish or jailhouse are good... hotspur is another good band that almost nobody knows about but if you check them out on itunes they have some good stuff.... so yeah check those out for starters.

Well it really depends. She might like country, but I think it's better to put songs on there with lyrics that are relevant to how you feel about her, or some things she has experienced.

That makes it more personal than random songs she might already own herself.

And you might want to start out with Happy Birthday by Stevie Wonder!
