that applies to the situation. We are over eight years apart. But I love her dearly and I'm very protective over her. I can't seem to find the perfect poem or several quotes If you could help me that be great!

  1. I've always been your older sister

I've loved you since Mom and Dad brought you home

I've always been right there for you

for all of your fourteen years

we have shared our thoughts and feelings

and been as close as Sisters can be

And I have cherished every moment I have spent with you

Now I've found the man I will marry,

I will move away and share my life with him

Always remember though he is my Husband

You are my Sister, and I will always have room in my heart for you.

Love can never be divided for a person to share it, it doubles itself, and each person you love gets the whole heart, and the whole love.

We can love the whole world, and each person in it still gets the whole heart and love.

  2. Roses are red

    violets are blue

you are my sis and I adore you.

Hope you don't mind but I must go away.

I hope you will find your true love some day.

  3. There are plenty of wedding websites to go to.  Google wedding poems and or quotes.

  4. Im not a professional poet mind but i do like writing poems and what tips i use is for a start write the alphabet along the top of the page of the paper your gonna write the poem on.  This helps with the rhyming. Secondly, do a brainstorm....where you write your sister's name at the top of the page then branch off any words you can think of that reminds you of her or resembles her.  There you'll get your basic ideas for an outline.  Finally, dont worry about mistakes just think of it as a first draft, you can always improve later on.  Put your ideas into context and explore different possibilities, perhaps descriptions of her personality, moods, etc... or emotions felt towards her, her looks, anything that reflects on her.  You wont go far wrong this way.....and you'll have a really personal and appreciated bridesmaid gift created souly by yourself,  which will probably be treasured for years to come much more than a trinket bought in a shop.
