I'm making a poster to hang on telephone poles for lawnmowing?

Question

Ok, this summer I'm going to do some lawnmowing, tree trimming type stuff and I need to set up some posters around on telephone poles to let people know this. What should I Put on these posters? And what about money? should I set a fixed price, or a range, hourly rate, or let the customer set a price and we haggle?

I think you should actually do some professional advertising like local tv and post ur ad in the newpapaers and etc. The posters that you hang up on the tele posts should have the name of ur company, telephone #, and etc. Especially put the signs up around neighborhoods and mostly expensive neighborhoods where very high class people stay..and tell all the knowsy people you know about ur service so they can tell other people and it can go on and on...

i think that you should  spend more money on signs for the telephone poles that say.........IF YOU ARE THE VICTIM OF A HOME INVASION ,AND YOUR WIFE ,OR DAUGHTER HAS BEEN RAPED,AND BECOMES PREGNANT,DO NOT ABORT THE GENE INFECTED FETUS ,AS I WILL SUPPORT IT BY CUTTING LAWNS.

you should definantly set a fixed price, however I wouldnt put a price on the poster, make them call, and I would set 2 prices, one for small yards and one of larger yards.

Make your poster very simple and something people can read really fast, make sure you put the phone number large at the bottom of the poster so people in cars can see it easily.

why not write something like "do you want a nice garden, but dont have the time?" or "sit back and relax this summer, all your gardening needs met" (or something like that).

You could have a picture of a garden set as the background for your poster.

Cheap prices £10 an hour, set prices definatly or some people may take advantage.

I think a telephone number should be all you need.
