Use the classics with tunes they recognize like Twinkle, Twinkle, Happy Birthday, This Old Man, The Ants go Marching, eensy Weensey Spider etc.  The sites below have lists of songs AND the words.

I have made many of these slideshows and have asked the same question a bunch of times waiting for new answers...

Is this a slideshow for the families?  (montage of the kids pictures of the year?)

I found the many of the Hannah Montana songs works well- they are upbeat and the kids like them same with HS musical songs ( We are all in this together is perfect)

Plus I like Tear jerker songs:

Plus the usuals"
