I'm making a two layer cake (8 inches per layer). How many days can I make this cake in advance?

Make the cake, cool it and put it in the freezer, then you can defrost it and use it when you want it.

Ono whole day at the most two. But don't push it.

2 weeks if you freeze it- It is easier to frost frozen, too!

i say 2 days but keep cake sealed tight so no air gets in

after 2 days moisture starts to collect and constincy changes

In my opinion I would say no more than 2 days because if you hold it longer than 2 days it will become dried out unless you have a Tupperware Cake Taker then you might be able to steal another day.But again this is just my personal opinion.
