  1. I'd play someone elses ball that is in the middle of the fairway!!

  2. forget about the ball and work on your swing.  For a mid-high handicap golfer the ball makes no difference.  You have to master the stroke and swing.....then look for a ball that makes a tiny bit of difference.  For you,  look for what is on sale and cheap.  Seriously,  this is not a put down.  Changing balls will not effect your score when at this point it is your swing that counts.

  3. ditto all of the above

  4. the ball will make no difference to your swing.

  5. The ball does make a difference to the point that if you play a ball that has high spin it will slice more than it would if you used a ball that spun less. The best thing you could do is work on your mechanics. Find someone to give you a few lessons it will help you enjoy the game in the future.

  6. I'm going to guess you are around a 20 handicapper.  The February issue of Golf Magazine tested 54 different golf balls from all the manufacturers.  The suggested balls for a 20 handicapper are:

    All the Titleist balls

    Pinnacle Platinum Feel or Distance

    Bridgestone e6+

    Callaway HX Hot Bite

Nike Juice 312, Karma, PD Soft, Straight, and Long

    Maxfli Noodle+

    Precept Distance iQ 180

    Srixon Trispeed, Soft Feel, AD333

    TaylorMade Burner

    Top Flite Freak

    Wilson ProStaff Boost
