No because a lot of women's clothes are made by male designers so it would not be that wierd for a man to work at a ladies clothing store!

not necessarily, i've seen men work in womens' stores...but I would recommend working in a larger store in a mall such as Dillard's or Belk's, that way you'll also be near the men's department.  besides, anyone who does question why you're working there will probably just come to the conclusion that you were desperate for a job.
