I live in Fountain Valley, California right now... I'm moving into an apartment in Clovis, California.. I don't have my driver's license, and my family refuses to help me move in any way, shape, or form. They won't drive me or anything. Just sort of a "goodbye, nice having you around" type thing. :) I'm really, incredibly tight on money, and may only have around 100-300 dollars to work with. I looked into taking baggage onto an Amtrack, but I think I'll have around 6 boxes, all of different sizes.. and of course a few backpacks.. U-Haul would be nice if I could get someone, ANYONE to drive it, but I can't! My family wants all of my stuff gone from my room, and I'm not taking ANY furniture. Just clothes and material items I've collected. I was just wondering if anyone on here had some suggestions for me... I'm really dying for some, it seems I'm stuck in a big rut here. :( thank you so much to anyone who replies...

  1. Ship your boxes via Greyhound Bus. They may be cheapest. Buy a ticket for yourself and you can arrive with your things. I know how you feel,my family did the same to me after my dad remarried. I know it's hard now but in the long run it'll be better. You can take the boxes prior to shipping to Greyhound, UPS or the Post Office to get weighed  (for free)and prices. Good luck.
