I'm moving to a new house. Its nice and all but I have never moved before. I was born in the house I live in now for 14 years and I feel odd and sad... I hope the doesn't sound dumb but how do I deal with this and what should I expect? I will be going to the same school as my friends but I will be living over an hour away from them...

  1. you will always have memories thee, and it will be hard..... I mean thats the fopundation of your childhood!  But good news is... EVERYONE feels sad when they leave their home, especially your first and only home.  I wouldn't worry about it though... there will be many benifits to your new place too!  New neighbours, new School, new places to hang out...... it will be fine~

    Good luck with your move

  2. I recently moved into a new house after having been in my old one for 10 years. I hadn't been there all my life, but I grew up there, all my old friends and neighbors and memories were there. It was real exciting, but it was also kind of sad...it's hard to let go of things we're used to. You'll get used to your new house though, don't worry :)

  3. Its going to be sad.. and you are going to be down becuase of the move, but take it from me. Im a military brat.. I had to move all the time, and had to make new friends and go to a different schools a lot. It was hard.. but it was always a great experience. Its going to be a little easier for you though.. just be happy you are going to the same school and get to see your friends.. things are going to change with hanging out and all that... but the postive side is, you can find more people to hang out with that live around you also. You get to still keep your old friends.. but get the chance to meet some new ones, and experience a different life style at your new house. Just try to think postive. I kno it sucks, and its hard, and i hated it, but once everything settled into place, it was great learning new things and meeting new people... just try to think positive it will help...
