I would prefer to live downtown or close to. After some research places such as Tuxedo Park, Ranchlands, Sunalta and Acadia are convinient places for me. What would be the best/safest and easiest to get to Downtown (distance)?

  1. Eau Claire is nice area (downtown), also west-side downtown (where i used to live) is a nice area too.

  2. Just live near where you work or go to school. Calgary has almost no bad neighbourhoods. Just make sure you don't have to cross the Bow River or go down Crowchild to go between work and home.

  3. Mount Royal is really nice [suburban houses in the middle of downtown, more expensive ]

Wentworth [new developed area, easy drive to downtown]

Westgate[ affordable area, close to downtown]

Altadore[ close to parks and downtown ]

Garrison [ close to farmer's market, newly developed, close to down town]

Sunalta is a very nice neighborhood.

Safest I would say: Wentworth and Garrison

All the places I listed are pretty convenient.

  4. in a nice place
