Okay So I'm 18, I'm moving to Florida in 3 weeks. I am currently in Maryland and do not have a license here.. I took driving school which I haven't paid for because I didn't get my permit because I knew I was moving before I wouldn't be able to get my license here in Maryland anyway. So number one will I have to pay for that driving school before I get my license in Florida? It's not needed so I don't see the point.. and When I get to Florida what do I need to show for proof of address because I won't really have any for a while.. but I'll need my license as soon as I get there. I've read plenty of things online but i'm still in the air about it. Since I'm 18.. I don't need a permit to take the driving test? I need help and have to figure this stuff out within the next 3 weeks! HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!

  1. i think you need a poermit ofr 6 months regardless of age.  As for the driving school, if you want that school to count you will need proof you took it and you will have to pay to get proof.  I recomend stoping at the dmv in florida as soon as you get there and they will be able to get it straitened out/.

  2. Just go into the florida DMV with a picture ID and they will check to make sure you do not have a suspended/revoked license from another state and if not provide them proof of residence, rent receipt or someone to vouch that you reside at their residence, after that take the test and they will issue on the spot.~
