I'm moving to New York - are there any recruitment agencies to help me find a preschool teaching job?

There are Child Care Resource and Referral agencies all over New York State. If you go to : nyscccc.org you cab access the list. Those councils usually keep a list of agencies looking for employees. Except for publicly funded Pre K preschool teachers don't have to be certified unless the individual programs choose to require it.

Are you an NAEYC member? If not, you should join. They have job listings on-line AND the membership will look good on your resume.

Also try www.jobsource.com and do a search. I was looking and it seems that many of the jobs require a degree and there's also mention of NY certification.
