I'm moving to Panmure.. can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it a good area?

Well it isn't classified as a good area, the township is behind the times and there's some bad parts but it is very handy to the city and now to Sylvia Park - the large shopping mall and I think that it will be one of those areas that will go up in value in the future because of its convenience. It's a bit of a mix really - by no means the worst area and I would have no hesitation in living  there but there are parts of Auckland I wouldn't live no matter what.

Its not the worst place but in saying that, Panmure is not the best place in Auckland to live. A few nice eating places there though...
