I'm moving to cali(29palms) an i want to know is there a local website to look for cars?

Go to www.craigslist.org, then find the state , California, then the city your in, San Diego, or something like that, then go to cars and trucks, and you can punch in the make, model, price range, and if it doesn't have a picture forget it, you can find some really nice cars in there cheap, seen many nice Honda's for 1000 to 4000, that's where you want to look,

Oh and your probably a Marine, my son went to 29 palms, but he was stupid and bought someone Else's project car and it didn't make it back to the base, find something clean and well maintained for 2000, and you'll be happy.
