I'm moving to southern Indiana my freshman year. What should I do to make it a good start to a new school.

I'm moving to Princeton,Indiana.If you know anything about their High School and the teachers and students please tell me.I have a lot of friends at my old school,i dont have a problem with anyone at my middle school,i just been nice to everyone.I have an older sister in high school so I knew alot of kids in high school and i never feared it a bit. But now im moving to a new high school that is way bigger than the high school in my old town. The new school has about 750 kids. How do i make good friends and WHERE DO I SIT AT DURING LUNCH ON THE FIRST DAY ? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Moving schools can be extremely difficult, especially at this age. Just try to be yourself, as that is the key to pretty much everything...you'll soon find out.

Try to go out of your comfort zone a little bit and make an effort to meet some people in your classes and get to know them.

Honestly, if your entire high school is 750 kids, its a pretty small high school compared to the 3000 at mine. Chances are that these kids know each other pretty well and will recognize the new kid.

Hopefully they will be kind enough to try and help you out but you can't leave it up to them.

High school isn't bad...its so much better than junior high. You'll be fine, I wouldn't stress too much.

Um 750 isn't big at all for a school! Actually, it's pretty tiny. Chances are, you'll meet someone in one of your classes before lunch, and you can ask them (or hopefully they'll offer) if you can sit with them. :) Don't worry, transitioning to high school is a hard time for everyone, even if you are moving to a completely new area. Everyone will be feeling awkward that first day, so don't hesitate on talking to people!
