  1. It's summer so nothing will be 'cheap' because Victoria has a high percentage of visitors.  That said, there are a number of motels right on Douglas Street near Mayfair Mall that have good monthly rates and are right on the bus routes.

    In fall/winter, there are GREAT rates at motels along The Gorge.
