  1. I was really nervous about my first drive too but it went really well the driver's instructors were chosen for the job because they are outgoing and remain calm when you are driving. They have a break on their side and my instructors would reach over and straighten out my steering wheel if necessary. Don't worry they have their jobs for a reason and I always loved driving with them... much more relaxing then driving with my mom!

  2. relax you think to much

  3. Just try to remain as calm and relaxed as possible. Once you start driving it will feel natural so don't worry!

  4. That's why the driving instructors are there, they'll tell you what to do, and can give you subtle hints if needed. Trust me, if there's a proffessional instructor in the car, you have no need to worry as long as you can relax, and just do the task you're given.

  5. Take a deep breath , then do whatever your instructor tells you.

Trust me, he isn't going to tell you anything wrong to do.  He  is in the car with you don't forget.

Don't feel nervous.   And if you are then tell him, and he will know how to handle the situation.   We have all been there.

    Just pay attention.......

  6. NO, I can tell you for a certain fact that passing your driving test has almost nothing to do with luck and almost everything to do with the having the specific knowledge and the confidence that you need to succeed.

What does this mean?  Is there a way that you can avoid being one of the over 2 million people that will fail their drivers test in the United States this year? Yes! Armed with the knowledge that I am about to share, you CAN pass the first time!

Just relax and you will do fine, good luck and see you on the road.

  7. Relax everyone is nervous.

  8. I actually went out driving today with my driving instructor...i was a bit nervous but once you get in the car the instructor is very nice and helps you

  9. The vids are just to show you that you are not in an indestructible machine.   If you follow the rules of the road and keep your eyes open you will do just fine.   No different than walking on a crowded sidewalk.  You can do it without bumping into others by alot of "give and take"

  10. Your instructor is showing you the worse case scenerio, and it is meant not to instill fear but to make you aware that driving is serious and you should do it with caution and respect for your own health as well as the well being of others.

I am sure you are going to do very well at learning to drive. Especially since you have an inherent concern for the consequesnces.

Step back, take a deep breath and tell yourself that your are going to learn the correct way to become a good driver and that you are going to enjoy the experience.

Just remember, you always know what you are going to do, but you do have to be careful and be aware of other drivers as they can be unpredicitable, expecially as the human race ages and enters the later years in life, they forget the rules of being a safe driver.

Good Luck, I have full faith that you will be a successful safe driver.   Jackie

  11. Hey, I'm starting too! Just stay calm, and take it slow. It's easier than you think!

  12. Dont worry. I was like that too. your instructor will have his/her own break in case something goes wrong, and they can always take over the wheel if you start going the wrong way. It'll be fine and you can just get less nervous in time and with more experience

  13. relax.... thats all you have to do, its normal to be nervous
