Okay so I am audtioning for a play tomarrow. It's fiddler on the roof. Fun right? Would you puh-lease give me some tips on this adudtion? And also a charater description for SHPRINTZE would be great thank you

  1. maybe you can watch the movie to gain some insight and inspiration.


  2. Well, make sure you know it all by heart or most of it. The less you look at the script the better. If it's musical in anyway I would practice the song as often as you can and before you start you could do scales or atleast vibrate your voice a little. The people may look imtimdating but tune them out and act in the moment. Once you start let all your cares go away and go full out in acting and try to let your heart out when you sing. The butterflies seem to go away at that point.

  3. I know just how you feel! I get nervous ALL the time. Something that helps me is to imagine me on the stage opening night playing the part I want. That will help you realize how badly you want the part, which in turn will help you try harder. Be confident and don't show that you're terrified! Tell yourself that you will go in and do your absolute best. If you try your hardest then even if you don't make it, you will have no regrets!

    SHPRINTZE is the fourth eldest child of Tevye. She does have a "fate" which wouldn't have made the tone of the story any lighter. That's all that i could find on her. Sorry,

    Also, to help the audition go better make sure you are prepared for a cold read. Which is where they might ask you to read randomly from the script.     block people out

    do the best you can and tottaly zone into the character

    drink lots of water, it keeps you calm

    make sure that the directors casting you see you as calm and collective

    Have lots of energy

    loook excited and happy to be there
