  1. when you first start, your eyes need time to adjust, so the first week wear them for an extra hour each day until the week is over, then you can wear them from when you wake up to back asleep.

  2. Extended wear can be worn for an extended period of time and then thrown away if they are also disposable. If it says you can wear them for 6 consecutive days then Yes, you can sleep with them. I personally have those and do not sleep with them. I only wear them during the day and take them out at night so then I'm able to wear them for two weeks instead of one and it saves on having to get them so often. Good luck with them. :-)

  3. yeah, for only 6 nights. but if you can avoid it then do, it's never a good thing even if they are designed that way.

  4. Not sure of the brand and stuff, but there are contacts meant for continuous wear over several days but don't do it, especially if you have never worn contacts before.  You should only wear them for a couple of hrs the first day then work your way up (they will probably get irratated after awhile anyway at first).

  5. That is what I do with mine. Don't listen to these people saying it is bad. I have worn my contacts for 12 years and have never had a problem. I put a pair in for a week, take them out for a night, and then put them right back in. Then after the 2nd week they get thrown out. No big deal.

  6. yes i'm pretty sure what that means!

i have contacts too, and i don't think i'm supposed to sleep with mine in, but i do, and it doesn't kill me.

    lol, good luck!!

  7. You can wear them over night, i wouldn`t wear them past 6 though. Remember you eyes have to ``breath``. Just because it says you can does not mean you HAVE to.

  8. I dont know for sure, but it seems like you can keep them on 24 hours a day for 6 days.

I wouldn't recommend it though. Its not a good idea to keep contacts on your eyes for more than one day.

  9. Your doctor should have gone over your contact lense wearing schedule with you. Even if the box says extended wear, don't wear them to sleep in. Your eye needs to be uncovered a good part of the 23 hour day.  You will get better results wearing your lenses that way. (don't keep them in all day and all night, your eye needs to breathe, my eye doctor said.0

  10. yes you can but its not recommended. I use acuvue and it works the same except some brands let you sleep with them. However, this also increases infection possibilities. becareful
