I'm new to Facebook and I have a problem with mass inviting friends?

I just created an account on facebook and I'm trying to invite my classmates but it won't let me. This is what I'm doing. First I click on friends. Then "find people you know" which is on the left side. Then I go to the bottom left and click "find classmates from blank school blank year". Then it shows classmate search and I fill out the information i.e. school name and class year. When I click search it just goes to another page which says "search by name", "classmate search", and "search by company." It wont let me mass invite my friends from my class.

p.s. I'm in high school so this is for classmates.

that's because it's trying to find people you know that are already on facebook. If you want to invite friends that are not already on facebook you have to hit, Friends, then on the left side panel it has a link that says, "Invite Your Friends" to join facebook. Then you can type in their e-mail addresses.

If you are trying to find people that are already on facebook, you need to be in a network to find people from your school.
