  1. Best boots for you to start with are some nice Jodhpur boots. By far the best brand to use is Dublin. They are cheap (AU$70-90), comfortable, practical and look good.

If you want you can also get chaps to go with them though they are not a necessity so I wouldn't buy chaps until you know what you want.

As for where to buy them from, I strongly believe that you must not buy them online or not seen. By far, Horseland is the place to go: www.horseland.com.au. They have a lot of stores all around australia.

    Good luck!

  2. get tippary it works the best.go on amazon and search the stuff and they have the best stuff.

  3. Get paddock boots.

  4. It depends on how far you wish to go in the sport and what you want to do (jumping/dressage ect.) What I would reccomend if you are starting out is a pair of short jodphur boots, if you are in australia some good stores to look at are horseland or saddleworld or your local saddelry. Some good brands to start with are saxon or dublin. If you want have a look at www.horseland.com.au and have a look at the online shopping there. Another good idea is to maybe have a look at buying a pair of half chaps, synthetic will do the job unless you are looking to pay a fair amount for leather ones which you really don't need if you are just starting.  Have fun and enjoy your riding as it really is an amazing sport to take part in.

    Good Luck!

  5. I would get a pair of paddock boots. For the brand- It depeds on how serious you are about being an equestrian. I have a pair of Ariats that I bought a t RLB Saddlery and LOVE them but they are a little expensive. It would also be very helpful to get a pair of half chaps. There are many stores that would be a good to buy boots and chaps at. Here are some of my favorites.  RLB Saddlery, English Horn, and there are lots of stores on line. For example- E-bay, Horse.com, Dover Saddlery's online tack shop, ect. Hope this was some help to you!                -Dani
