I'm new to freecycle group - where do I go for info on how to use the site?

Go to the Freecycle member FAQ page (http://www.freecycle.org/faq/faq) - you should be able to find the help you're wanting with one of the links in the left-hand column. If not, click the link on Section 1, Getting immediate help - this will show you how to contact your local group administrator.

Probably the quickest way to find your local group (if you're in the US) is to start at http://www.freecycle.org/group/United%20... then just click your state to see the list of groups there. If you use the search function on the home page, remember that it uses OR logic - it will give you all results that contain both/any of the words entered, for example entering 'Rhode Island' will return all entries containing 'Rhode' and all enteries containing 'Island' - Grand Island, Staten Island, Vancouver Island, etc.

Go to freecycle.com and there should be links to the group in your homw area. The basics to it are you can post things you no longer want or need and give to other people and once you post things then you can start asking for things.

go to your group and read the instructions, and read a few posts to get the feel of them..
