I'm new to this... so please be kind. What is the difference between UFC and Elite XC?

better fighters. Elite XC are a bunch of fighters who can not make it in the UFC. little to no training.

Talent level, promotion, popularity, and money.  Maybe all of that will change after their live show on th 31st...

Elite XC is cool. Its getting bigger and bigger. I think they have some underrated fighters that would probably beat UFC'S

UFC fighters are the people who have proved they are good enough.  Elite XC is just a starting point...

you will see a lot of people who fight in EXC in UFC in a few years i reckon...

id say biggest difference is just experience

They are different promotions, they both are MMA organizations. UFC is bigger as of now.

They are different promotions and yes the UFC is bigger but Elite XC is coming up, the fighters are better than a lot of the folks on here are giving credit for, maybe just a lack of experience, but these are not local show fighters they are pro's.  Jason Miller, Nick Diaz, Robbie Lawler, Jake Shields, Murilo Ninja Rua(shoguns Brother), Scott Smith, Yves Edwards, KJ Noons, Renzo Gracie, and Frank Shamrock are some of their better fighters.  Shields, Miller, Diaz, Lawler can give anyone a run at their weight regardless of org.
