I'm not a good listener?

I'm not a very good listener in fact I suck at it. I tend to over react. I would like to become a much better one when it comes to intimate relationships. If anyone could help by giving suggestions on what to read or advice it would be a big help.

First you need to have a lot of patience and learn to relax.

Take some deep breaths and remind yourself to let the other person finish their thoughts before you start talking.

Practice, practice, practice.

Here's an article. You can read all the books in the world but until you learn the skill and get the knack, they will be useless.
