  1. You have to be a legal citizen, it is impossible.


  2. You need a birth certificate, state issued ID, and Social Security card.  Was at the DMV yesterday and they said it is the law.

  3. I don't think you can.  in fact, I hope and pray that you cannot get a drivers license here.

  4. Yes you can get a license without a social security, I helped one of my friends get it. You just need to have enough ID, check the DMV's website for the ID requirements. And instead of the SS card, you'll have to fill out some form, forgot what it was but it's there on the DMV website.

    This is for New York though, so I'm not sure about other states.

  5. Each state should have different laws pertaining to the Drivers License.  However, due to the REAL ID act, the states have been putting their databases together.  Immigrants will still be allowed to get a dl without a ssn however.  All that is required is a VISA, and photo id.
