I'm not able to run Sims 2 Mac on my Mac because it says "an Intel Video Chipset" is not supported?

What does this mean, and how do I fix it?

  1. Should say on end of box the game came in what you need to run it. Your rig doesn't have it. If you don't have the box here's what you need to have:

    Operating System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.8

    System Requirements: CPU Processor: PowerPC G4/G5 CPU Speed: 1.2GHz Memory: 256 MB or higher Hard Disk Space: 3GB free disk space Video Card (ATI): Radeon 9000 Video Card (NVidia): GeForce FX5200 Video Memory (VRam): 32 MB or higher Media Required: DVD Drive


  2. you're going to need a new computer for that, Im guessing that you have one of the older macs that uses powerPC chipsets. in fact instead of going with an intel video card, Id get something like an ATI radeon 3850 to play it, that way it would run great. even then the sims is designed for windows.
