I'm not eating as healthy like i did?

around march and before i used to weigh around 235 and now i weigh 165-170 at the middle of august. now i eat alot more and a little less healthy but i still excercise everyday. i am still in the 165-170 range even though i eat crappier foods. has my meatbolism sped up since losing all my weight or what else?

I NEED ANSWERS PLEASE!!!!!

  1. Metabolisms USUALLY slow down when a person loses weight. You may be burning 4700 calories when you were 235 lbs and probably 3360 calories now that you are 165-170 lbs. But, muscles contribute alot to metabolism. If you have gotten more muscular, your metabolism must still be high even when you are losing weight.
