I've tried the breaker box, and changed the thermostat. What's next?

  1. that stinks

  2. The complete system should be inspected and serviced each season before it is used.

  3. AC's of today have a main disconnect outside very near your  AC unit.Check to see that no one has turned off the power there.

  4. Air conditioner man

  5. When you say power do you mean the 220 volt power to the outdoor unit or the 24 volt control power to turn it on?

The thermostat gets its 24 volts from the indoor unit (furnace or air handler) and send that 24 volts to the outdoor unit which has its own 220 volt breaker.

If the thermostat doesn't turn anything on I would think the power is off to the indoor unit or the transformer or fuse in that unit are faulty.
