Question:

I'm not getting the news anymore on my home page. Does anyone know what's wrong?

This seems to be a problem for several customers. I can't find any way to actually contact Yahoo with a question that not on their FAQ. This has been happening for at least 5 days. If not resolved soon I'm considering going to another mail service.

  1. Same problem here. If Yahoo thought of themselves as a top o' the line service, they'd supply a direct contact link instead of using a useless FAQ pacifier.

    Get this! I was able to add a random item to my homepage and it actually works! If the yahoos at Yahoo got off their asses and actually worked 'hands on', this kind of ridiculous c**p wouldn't happen. They're SO dependent on their stupid bots they obviously haven't a friggin' clue what is going on, thus the many days of NOTHING.

    The seat fillers at Yahoo need to quit playing golf and get their lazy asses to work or be fired and replaced by 'intelligent' people who give a d**n, because I STILL haven't received a message of any kind from 'them' stating the status of their sorry site.


  2. I have the same issue. I can usually get the stories at home, but not on my computer at the office. It seems as though many other people are having this problem also. The titles of the newsfeeds show up, but it indicates "no items." It is very troublesome since I get most of my news through yahoo page.

  3. I contacted Yahoo help about this on 4/4/07...here's their reply:

    Thank you for writing to My Yahoo!.

    I understand that you are not getting updated news on your My Yahoo!

    page and apologize for the same.

    Please be assured that we are aware of this problem with the new My

    Yahoo! page and are working to fix it.  We appreciate your reporting it
