I'm not good at picking gifts, so does anyone know what is a good gift for a 1 yr old girl?

If it's family, consider going in a group and getting one big present.  Like a play house or play set.  If you have parents and other family members, you can get something big, and you will not have to shop just give money

I have found that every child who is one loves those ride on/ push toys.  They run between 20.00 to 30.00 but, they are so much fun for little ones.  They play music, have a storage compartment under the seat, and one I saw even had a shape sorter on it.  That's what I buy for any child's first birthday!

Go to walmart or any toy store and you will see that the toys that are in boxes will have on the box what age group the toy is best for. there are also many stawberry shotcake dolls and such as toy stores and or walmart!  Also educational/learning toys are fun for one year olds!

You can't go wrong with Little People.  I think those are made by Fischer Price.  There are many different sets to choose from and are just right for a 1 year olds hands.  We have a huge collection of them and my 5 and 7 year olds still play with them occasionally.

I would do my research online.  And remember, while she will only be one once, she has no idea that you spent a ton of money on her.  Keep it reasonable.
