I'm not sure I can handle my life this coming year?

I'm about to enter my junior year of high school and I don't know how to balance my life this year. I'm starting to take AP classes and my parents are making me take a seminary class for my LDS faith (which is especially difficult because I really don't think it's completely right) and in taking this class I would need to wake up at 5:00am and would need to go to bed at 9:00pm. They also want me to start applying and looking at church schools which I very much don't want to do because I would like to go to school in New York. I just feel like I'm losing control over decisions that will have a major impact on my life. I can't openly tell my family I don't want to do these church things because it would crush them. I just don't know how to handle everything...any advice for hard times?

Soemtimes you have to crush them, I had arguments with my dad over becomign a reservist, and I finally went after hours of arguing, they weren't even goign to let me go be a nanny, but I did that and came back home afte rmy contract was up.

I did leave th echurhc but because I became a reservist and saw the world, I mean you go to basic and AIT and you go back home. I got married in AIT to a nonmormon because I was a jackmormon and it had nothign to do with seeing the world, it had to do with not agreeing with the mormon faith, but back to you. Sometimes you have to do what is best for you. I mean it is good to obey your parents as is one of the commandments, but they are human and don;t always knwo what is always 100 % right for you. Sometimes you knwo what is right for you, and soemtimes they have to start letting you have some freedom.

I am sure you can handle. I took Seminary and loved it very much and learned a lot. Just be honest with your parents and say that there are great schools here in New York.

go to a counsler and they'll help you sort out your feelings!
