Question:

I'm not sure if I'm happy or not?

I've been through a lot and was feeling very depressed...I really don't wanna go into detail but I wasn't liking myself at all. I mean I still kind of hate my body but I wanna be happy. I have a great sister and she's really supportive but I don't know what it means to be happy..... how do u know if u have finally come to the point in your life where u just want to be happy and how does it feel

I'm not sure how easy it is to answer this but just tell me how u feel and what happyness means to u and how u got to be happy with your life.....

  1. For once stop thinking about others and what they think about you and think about yourself a little bit more. Because at the end of the day it's just you, don't you ever forget that. Also, life is to short to be depressed and not like yourself. No matter what always be thankful that God has given you another day to live. Appreciate your life and don't waste it on sadness and being cooped up in your room. Always cherish what you were given because at the end of the day you just want to live to see another day. Hopefully I helped.  


  2. I think your first two responses really nailed it! I couldn't have said it any better myself. But, I will say this... if you get one single negative or rude response to this question, don't even give it any consideration!  I have a very distinct feeling that you are an amazing and wonderful person... and I trust my gut feelings... so, just allow yourself the love you deserve in your life (including the love you should have for yourself). Happiness is really just peace with oneself, and you have to learn to love yourself to have that. So, begin that journey by looking yourself in the eye and saying... "I love you!" You'll be amazed at how much that, alone, will change your whole perspective! Do it!!! I used to be so down on myself, just like you. But, now, I have learned to love and accept myself for who I am, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!

  3. u know what. i use 2 be like that. but i always had a negative attitude. it took me yrs. to understand why i was always depressed, unhappy , no energy no zest at all 4 life. i admired everyone around me. they all seemed happy.  then 1 day i said 2 myself, no more negative thoughts. cause thats what they do 2 u. they bring u down. it may take a little while but evey time u think something negative say no 2 that thought. think only positive thoughts. think only of the good things. before long u will c a big difference. pamper urself 2. do what makes u happy. ur a very special person. i luv u already.
