It looked like she had fat turkey legs.. I think she was from Canada. It was synch diving, and one looked alright, but the other was..... oh my, or was it my wiescreen tv? Anyone know what I'm talking about? Was she a good representation of Canada, and was she really one of the best in all of Canada? Your thoughts...

  1. your a jerk (o:

  2. I didn't see what you are speaking of, but I do think that the Canadians will do better in the winter olympics which are to be held in Vancouver, BC in 2010.

  3. me and my mom pted that out too! hahaha oh well shes good though

  4. It's not your TV.  That girl just has a stocky build.  Her legs are big, but they are rock hard muscle.  They also had the illusion of being even bigger because the girl with her was of a more slender build.

  5. I don't have a widescreen TV but I know what you mean. Synchronized Diving, right? I was watching that too, one girl from Canada had very muscular legs. That's actually a lot better than starving yourself to get as skinny as the Chinese girls...look how well Canada did! They did amazing. If you're watching the Olympics, be prepared to see some pretty buff people. Maybe part of it was your TV, cause it didn't look THAT bad on mine, but I know what you mean.

  6. Your question sucks.

That's horrible to say about anyone...

  7. If you watch a normal television signal on a widescreen TV, where you have the TV set up to fill the entire screen, everything looks wider than it really is.  Circles appear elliptical - diagonal lines appear to bend.

Widescreen TVs are wider, relative to the height of the screen, than most normal TV signals.  TVs can stretch the signal to fill the screen, so that your entire TV is used.  This gives false perspectives on the screen, but doesn't leave empty, black space at the edges.

It can't be changed, unless you set up the TV to show a true image with the same dimensions as the signal.

She may be stocky - but her legs will appear even more so if the image is stretched to fill the entire screen.

  8. Either something is wrong with your tv or your eyes.

  9. i assume she lost, right? so yeah, if she didn't win anything she would be a good representation of canada.
