  1. Install it properly, and some impellers you have to prime to get them moving.  Blow a mouthful of water into the hose and replace quickly.

  2. There is no question.You have incorrectly installed the impeller.The muffs test does not indicate the impeller is working since water pressure from the hose will force water through the cooling system.Take the unit apart and try again,taking care that the impeller is connected by way of the key in the drive shaft to the key way in the impeller.When you reinstall the lower unit the water tube must be aligned to the water pump housing.Good luck

  3. are you sure that the impeller was installed properly? Also check to see if the discharge hose etc is plugged.Chec water intake for being plugged.

  4. Make sure impellor is in correctly AND not stripped on the shaft.

  5. the impeller could be installed improperly or the foot of the motor isn't deep enough in the water

  6. Possibly the thermostat stuck closed, or impeller installed wrong. {did you have the rubber tabs bent in the right direction when you put the pump back together ?}

  7. it is the hydrocilator. These are very expensive and delicate.

    Sorry
