  1. Most of the time ticks are really easy to spot, they are grey and they can lactch on where you were not covered with clothes. So look good on your legs, and arms and if you hit you head with some stuff check that too and behind your ears. The best way to get them off it with twizzers and grab the head and wiggle from side to side. WARNING they can get big fast so if you dont find them pretty early they are harder and more painful to get rid of.

    Good luck, hope this helps!

  2. Take a shower.  While in the shower look all over your body, use a mirror if needed.  They are quite easy to see.  Be sure to put on clean clothes, i've had ticks stay on my clothing for hours.

If one is on you, use tweezers to grab it by the head and pull off.

  3. Take your clothes off and examine every part of your body carefully. Pay particular attention to anyplace that the ticks would have been stopped by a tight band (elastic or a belt) and to your hair. Tweezers are fine if the ticks have not yet attached and started to feed. If they have, get them off with rubbing alcohol. If you try to pull them off while they are feeding you may leave the head behind and you also facilitate the spread of disease.
